Cocoa project: Solar drying hall completed

In Lhok Gadong / Pidie, Bayer financed the rehabilitation of six buildings to become a training facility for a local cocoa farmers' association.

The rehabilitation measures of the building compound and the construction of a solar drying hall were completed in September 2007. Training on fair-trade and organic cocoa farming was initiated in December 2006 and is ongoing since then.
